Now is your opportunity to win another one of my favorite movies. This new version of Little House on the Prairie is delightful. And doesn’t it follow my previous post perfectly? I didn’t realize I created a theme.

Enjoy Pa’s fiddle, Mr. Edward’s determination, and Laura’s wonderment as you learn about life on the untamed prairie.

    We saw this a couple years ago when it was on television, but now that we’ve chosen to cancel our cable/satellite — great DVDs with family values are an essential.

    I would love to add this to our small collection of wholesome family viewing.

    I grew up in Southern California. My friends and I watched all of the episodes of Little House on TV every week, but we were also able to watch it being filmed. It was filmed in a Valley on the other side of the Mountain behind our neighborhood. This brings back many memories.

    I love Little House. Laura was my hero while I was growing up–the Laura from the books, not from the shows; Melissa Gilbert is great, but she annoyed me as a child.
