Congratulations to Cindy Rushton who won this year’s Homeschool Blog Award for Best Encourager!
It was my privilege to be in the race with such amazing women:
Many of you voted for me and for that I am honored.
Words fail when gratitude swells. Thank you for encouraging me!
We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father…(1 Thessalonians 1:2-3)

A few of you have been with me since the beginning of Life Nurturing Education. Others joined this journey recently. Thank you, each of you, for visiting me here. It blesses me to know you read what I labor over in the evening when the sound of clacking keys is my tranquility.

As ideas emerge from the shuffling letters, the words pry open my soul numbed by activity. The words bring life, strength, and focus to one prone to wander.
This purposeful act of reflection takes time to construct and discipline to create. It is a worthy pursuit. For here, I see more clearly. I find refreshment stretching to get a glimpse of the sun and a taste of the dew.
Your questions have encouraged me to reach higher. Thank you for inspiring some of my best posts:
My words will fade, but I hope they point to the word that stands forever. (Isaiah 40: 6, 8)
If you have found peace and encouragement here (at any time in the past, or present, or think you might in the future), will you please consider voting for Life Nurturing Education in the Homeschool Blog Awards? I am honored to be a nominee for Best Encourager.
I am even more thrilled you are with me reaching for an eternal reward.

Melissa passed this award to me months ago. (I don’t want to admit how many. Where does the time go?) It must have been sitting in my craft closet with all the other things I planned to do.

Since Christmas is 77 days and 21 minutes away, I rumbled the fabric stash and searched the scrapbook paper. While contemplating what gifts to make my loved ones, I thought of the bloggers I enjoy.
They create something new every time they write. Blogging is a gift from the heart, so thank you. Thank you for sharing your life and your wisdom.
If I don’t pass this gift from Mama Archer on now, it may end up in my daughter’s ream of pencil sketches never to be found again.

A hearty thank you to these bloggers, as well. (I know, that’s a corny pun, but I live with punsters. It’s hard to ignore the echo.)
Please feel free to use either meme, and you are welcome to pass it on.
Encourage others to keep creating homespun gifts from the heart!

Last month, Rain blessed me with this purposeful award. I’ve been searching for a new dress for the special occasion, but it’s too much pressure. So, please, excuse my jeans, black t-shirt, and slippers, they suit my comfy, loving purpose better than [insert famous designer name here]. Now, that’s out of the way…
Thank you for this blog badge.

Now, the privilege is mine to pass this emblem to other bloggers worthy of this special prize. Envelope, please.
Jennifer gave me this sweet award for Valentine’s Day. It fits my style perfectly. Daffodils are my favorite flower.

This token of appreciation is for you! Yes, you! Thank you for reading. I am honored that you spend a few moments of your time at my internet home.
Because of their kind comments, I’m mentioning these friendly bloggers: Emily’s 5 Blessings, Remodeling This Life, All Things Hold Together, Untraditional Home, At Shore’s End, and Under His Construction. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I always enjoy the discussion.

Voting has started for this year’s Homeschool Blog Awards. Life Nurturing Education is in the race for Best Artistic Content with some resplendent competition.

This morning I decided to campaign a bit, so I emailed my parents. Surely, they will vote for me. At least, they better. (Mom, Dad, you are voting, right?)
Now I appeal to you, my wonderful readers. You make blogging fun! Without you, I’d talk to myself while hiding in the bathroom. (Well, actually I still do that, but not as frequently.) My campaign promise is the same, whether you vote for me or not. I will continue seeking biblical principles and sharing encouragement for the home school journey.
Please consider voting for my Principle Approach running mates, as well.
PrincipledMom is listed in two categories, Best Encourager and Best Curriculum/Business. She is worthy in both categories.
Principled Discovery’s best race is in the Best Current Events, Opinions, or Politics category. It can also be found among the Best “Live What You Believe” nominees.
To cast your ballot follow this link to the The Homeschool Blog Awards or click on the button above. The process is very simple. You don’t have to sign anything or show your driver’s license. Just click on the categories, select the blog of your choice, and then “Vote” at the bottom of the list.
Thank you for your support! Best wishes to all the participants.
