Homeschool Supplies Giveaway from Really Good Stuff
Today I have the privilege of giving you the opportunity to win a prize package worth $40 from Really Good Stuff.
I was a bit surprised when Brandi Jordan approached me to write a guest post for The Teacher’s Lounge, because Really Good Stuff specializes in classroom supplies. I am a homeschooler. Our entire home is our classroom. I don’t hang up educational posters or have learning centers.
After taking a few minutes to look at what they have to offer, I realized I like school supplies almost as much as office supplies. Don’t they just go together? I’m not sure why the two were ever separated in my mind.
Here is a list of what is being offered in this giveaway:
1 set- Building Blocks of Character Pencils
2- Capture the Adventure Journals
2- Really Good Reading Strategy Bookmarks
To enter simply leave a comment on this post sharing your favorite school supplies. Contest is open until Friday, May 28th at 11:00p.m. (MST). Shipping to the continental U.S. only.
For extra entries:

Another vote for art supplies. There’s nothing like a new box of crayons to make even a grown up want to do some art.

I just love NEW school supplies (markers, pencils, crayons). Just the fact that they are new.
As a former public and private schooler teacher, as well as homeschooler, I only came upon my three favorite school “supplies” in the past year or two: a clipboard which allows the students/child to take their work wherever is most comfortable for them, a personal rug (think Aladdin and his flying carpet) that allows the student/child to spread out and have a personal space without cluttering up the entire room, and a personal tray that allows manipulatives/small projects to be contained and put away and taken out while still in progress.

I’ve been an office supply junkie since I was a kid. Now that I’m a homeschool mom, my favorite school supplies are: 3-ring binders, paper, sheet protectors, Bic Velocity pens & mechanical pencils, Clik Erasers, fine-point black felt-tip pens and colored pencils. We use these for almost every subject!

I love school supplies! We have posters on our walls, art supplies galore, file folders, crazy cutting scissors, markers, paints, post it notes and more! We all need school supplies. Lol!
Well, it’s not real specific, but books, that’s my favorite homeschool supply. I really like books. And any kind of organizing product. I like to organize. :)

I love good educational puzzles and games. And glue sticks. We can never have enough of those on hand.

Even as a little girl I’ve loved school supplies!! The journals you’ve shown look really neat! But I love all school supplies…crayons, markers, pencils, the whole bit.
What a fun giveaway! My favorite school supplies would be our Prismacolor pencils and sketch pads. We love to use them for art and for nature study.

Any and all school supplies! I love art supplies, colorful games and hand-outs,–anything to make school more fun and interesting!
We’re only in preschool… so far our favorite supplies are our Handwriting without tears wooden pieces. My boys love them and it’s one of the few things that really inspires both of them at the same time.
oh, my – how to narrow down my long list! I think pencils are at the top — plain, ol’ fashioned, need to be sharpened, made out of wood pencils.
and Sharpee markers!
and index cards – for making flash cards, cutting up for book marks or game pieces, math manipulatives, memory work – and the list goes on
file folders – my younger ones and I discovered lapbooks recently
art supplies, colored pencils and plain old crayons are my favorites.

A new box of color pencils or crayons the bigger the box the better. I love all the colors. I like folders to keep everything organized and paper lot and lot of paper. Ok the truth be told I love school supplies in general.
Hi! Art supplies are definitely up there. A pencil sharpener that works and doesn’t chop the end off the pencils has been an ongoing quest. Are children with a good attitude (and Mom with a good attitude) included in school supplies? :)

We have a couple favorites: Highlights, Dry Erase Markers and my daughter loves Rubberbands and paperclips.
We have many favorite “school supplies”-arts and crafts materials, all kinds of paper, our own yard, nearby parks, zoo, museums, libraries, relatives to visit ( and talk about their childhoods), theatrical productions, books, dvds, the internet and our van!
What a great giveaway!
We love using stuff from nature to inspire many fun art and craft projects!

Can I say that my favorite school supplies are FREE ones? ;0) Seriously, I have a major addiction to hand-me-downs, freebies at Currclick,… and also good finds at yard sales for real cheap.
It’s an addiction. =P
But if I had to pick something more specific than “free” ones I’d say I love little educational games (like the the Banana Grams game you showed) that are great for supplementing learning — without them even knowing it! =)
I love it all.
I love Math & Reading workbook. Thanks

we love art supplies around here, glue, markers, pencils, and lots and lots of PAPER! I’m afraid we are responsible for the demise of lots of trees….
My son likes paints and brushes the best; I like all the brand new pencils, pens, crayons, paper, you name it– at the beginning of the school year. We also love educational games. Thanks for the fun giveaway!
