Linking Encouragement

Reading blogs throughout the week, I find many encouraging articles and creative ideas. I often think of sharing them with you, but, unfortunately or perhaps fortunately, thoughts can’t be published without clicking a keyboard.

Organizing is therapy to me, so my bookmarks are sorted by subject. I will share them the same way. Today I’m digging in my encouragement folder, because I’ve been teetering along a dry ditch recently.

Encouragement from real homeschoolers

Since our goal is to reach the heart of our children, I also wanted to share this monthly prayer guide Anna-Marie sent me: Praying for our Children.

I hope you enjoy these articles. Some of them are from last year, but true words don’t fade with time.

April’s death to “ought” was a riot! Thanks for sharing. :D

    Amy,
I always appreciate encouraging posts no matter what time of year it is, but especially now. We’ve been working for a number of weeks, and it is too easy to get weary.

    Jennifer,
Of course! I really needed to revisit the ideas you presented so eloquently. And I know you are not homeschooling now, but you know what it’s all about. ;)

    Dianne,
Because of April’s wit, I usually find a good laugh at her blog. Glad you enjoyed it!

  • Sorry to hear you’ve been struggling. I find myself feeling the same way about a few things lately, not homeschooling so much as other things. But I’ve been there enough times to know that God will turn things around :)

    Renee’,
I’m so glad they blessed you. Thank you for letting me know.

    Barbara,
I know I will get through. You will, too. :) I’ve just been feeling a bit overwhelmed and restless.

I was going to email you to let you know that I started reading your book at just the right time. I picked it up this weekend and read half of it before nap time was over. It is so encouraging! I look forward to finishing it tonight or tomorrow.
