New Post at Heart of the Matter
My recent contribution to Heart of the Matter is from the archives. I hope you are encouraged by my response to Beth Moore’s Daniel study.
In our society, it is sometimes hard to silence the noise. We are surrounded on every side by images and expectations. Hey. Your words on HOM are truly a breath of fresh air in this sometimes hateful world.
Thank you for being so “real”.
Michele,
Thank you so much! I’m glad you were encouraged. It is good to remember that our worth doesn’t come from what others think about us, or even what we think about ourselves.
Loved your post over there…(I think I commented there too)
So, a homeschool mom doesn’t HAVE to know how to knit and sew? *wink*
This was such a timely message for me. Right now I am dealing with being on the unpleasant end of judgement by someone who was my close and dear friend for a long time. It’s been a struggle because I have allowed her personal issue to affect my self-esteem and I realize now its time for me to lay that burden down. Thanks so much!
You have such a lovely blog. I have enjoyed looking around it today. I also enjoyed your HOTM article very much. I look forward to reading more from you!
~Have a blessed day.

Emily,

Melinda,
Relationships can be so challenging. I pray that God will be your strength and peace.
Rhonda,
Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to visit and comment.
I’ve been wanting to do the Daniel study. Did you enjoy it? Right now, I’m doing the Beth Moore study on the Psalms of the Ascents, and it’s great.
Jennifer,
I really did enjoy the study. At the beginning I wasn’t very interested, because I’ve never liked studying the end times, and filling in blanks isn’t my favorite thing either. However, it was refreshing and challenging.
Hi Renae!
I was able to joined the Conference! But too bad, my audio was not working at all and the schedule is a total opposite of my waking hours here. LOL. But its alright. Atleast I know I will be able to download the downloadables when it is ready. I am so happy to have met many people there. Thank you for your referrals. See you around!
Renae, I loved your HotM post. Excellent thoughts!
