Wanted: Homeschool Dad

Thirty-nine-year-old Caucasian male disrupts school for rides on his back, trips to the park, and drives through the country. This 5′ 11″ balding father is recognized by sparkling blue eyes and enthusiastic laughter. Quoted as saying,

The most important thing for my children to see is God working through their mom and me. I want my children to be focused on their Creator with an eye toward lifting up their peers. Homeschooling will give them a unique perspective when this world comes begging for answers.

If you know the location of this man, please ask him to go home. His children request another interesting excursion.

    Hey, I have a hubby like that too. ;-) Lucky for me he keeps school teacher hours or I’d never get any book learning done.

    I hear you on the Star Wars thing. My husband and son speak in a foreign language practically. My Snap Dragon has seen all the old Star Wars movies with his Dad. I never hear the end of it! LOL.

    I’ve done this before, but your line about disrupting school takes the cake. Isn’t that a dad’s right? At least mine thinks so. :)

    Honestly, I try to work lessons around Dad’s schedule, so I’m thankful for the flexibility of homeschooling. We play with Dad every opportunity we get, which, unfortunately, hasn’t been frequent enough lately.

    Too cute! Seriously, though- what could be better for a child’s education than the knowledge of the love of his or her earthly and Heavenly fathers? :-)

    Yes, my children are blessed. Love is a solid foundation and arguably the most important.

    Mine does that, too. He used to get offended when I gave him the task of calming them down, but now he understands that by evening I need quiet. :)
