Awards and Carnivals
Last month, Rain blessed me with this purposeful award. I’ve been searching for a new dress for the special occasion, but it’s too much pressure. So, please, excuse my jeans, black t-shirt, and slippers, they suit my comfy, loving purpose better than [insert famous designer name here]. Now, that’s out of the way…
Thank you for this blog badge.
Now, the privilege is mine to pass this emblem to other bloggers worthy of this special prize. Envelope, please.

Jennifer gave me this sweet award for Valentine’s Day. It fits my style perfectly. Daffodils are my favorite flower.
This token of appreciation is for you! Yes, you! Thank you for reading. I am honored that you spend a few moments of your time at my internet home.
Because of their kind comments, I’m mentioning these friendly bloggers: Emily’s 5 Blessings, Remodeling This Life, All Things Hold Together, Untraditional Home, At Shore’s End, and Under His Construction. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I always enjoy the discussion.

So sweet. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your award, I am always humbled by these sorts of things.
I appreciate your kindness,
Barb-Harmony Art Mom
Okay this is it. I have to visit the carnival! Thanks for the reminder.
Just wanted to pop in and say “Thanks!” My first awards in the blogosphere. I told my dh about it, and he thought it was really nice.
Heather, Barb, and Sunniemom,
You are very welcome. I hope my mention of you brought encouragement to your day.
Mrs. Darling,
I hope you enjoyed the carnival!
Thanks so much, Renae. It’s much appreciated just as your kid’s pictures are in making me smile. Guess that’s what it’s all about, ay?
I have an empty house and floors with a few dust bunnies, but I will catch up soon.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I always enjoy visiting your blog! Our internet has been down for a week so I haven’t been able to blog read but now it is back on and now I have a TON of reading to do :-)
Thanks again!
emily
You are so sweet – thank you!!
That sure made my day! :)
Ahh Thanks Renae! I have been so blessed by our friendship! God is good! ( :
It is impossible to list all my friends. I appreciate everyone so much! This is just a small way to reward my top commentors.
To everyone who reads and comments, thank you for taking the time.
ughh…sorry Renae…”kids’ pictures”. Not the “kid’s pictures”. That sounded so obnoxious and was a matter of misplaced apostrophes. (Im losing those all the time.)
Susan,
You didn’t sound obnoxious at all. I understood what you were saying. :) Your sweet words reassured me that I’m not overdoing it with the kid pictures. I know Grandma never tires of pictures, but I don’t want to bore my readers. ;)
Honestly, I didn’t even notice your typo. Anyway, extra grace is always given for comments, because they cannot be corrected.
Did you win the war with the dust bunnies? Mine are reproducing at an alarming rate. They need to be misplaced for good. :D
Thank you, Renae. I am sorry that it took me so long to get over and say thanks. Just know that I am always reading, even when I don’t comment. Your posts always encourage and inspire. Yours is one of the first blogs I look at in my feed reader every day to see if you have posted something new that is sure to brighten my day.
Charity,
Please don’t apologize. I am always glad to hear from you, but life takes precedence over blog commenting. Before the internet, people had to wait until letters traversed the country. :)
You have humbled me with your thoughtful compliment. I’m glad my words encourage you. Often, I write to strengthen myself, so it is nice to know others benefit.
No, I’m still fighting it with little intermissions here and there. I’d rather be doing some blogging. :-)
