Bike injuries are the worst….
my oldest girl scratched off a big portion of her face when she was 7….fortunately you would never know it now!
Oh, the sweetie – that smile, though. Lip owies hurt like the dickens. But yes, thank goodness they do heal quickly!

Oh, I remember those days. (My youngest daughter gets a split lip several times a year.) Ouch.
She is so beautiful even with her ouch. You just want to sweep her up and kiss those cheeks.

Youch! That looks painful…glad she is ok and on her way to healing.
Thank you all. I am amazed at her resiliency. She was quite shaken for an hour or two after it happened and just sat quietly while I held her. By dinner time, she decided to eat with us. There have been only a few comments about it since.
Gaping wounds are new to me. My son is always so careful; therefore, he’s never done anything like this.
That looks like it really hurt! Poor little one!

Yikes! I wanted to say “Ouch” when I saw her lip, so that’s the perfect title for the picture. I’m glad that it’s better now.

Our bodies are amazing…the way that they heal,
especially children’s.
Ouch, so I guess next time she will be more careful with her bike.. No worries , it will just heal immediately. Hope her lips are getting okay now.
