the anti spam word was SCHOOL! What a funny coincidence!
From a fellow homeschooler, let me say, “Good job” to your son. Your imagination is a powerful thing!
I’ve enjoyed perusing your ‘reasons I homeschool list’. In fact, I really loved your answers. Mine aren’t as clear and concise. Right now, my number 1 reason? I love seeing them learn something new. Why give that ‘gift’ to some stranger?

Emily,
I am thankful my son and his friends are so good at using their imaginations. You should see the things they come up with! Last year they dug boy-sized tunnels through a dirt pile. And the Lego creations astound me.
I, too, enjoy seeing my children learn. There are days I think they will never “get it,” but those light bulb moments are precious. I am still awed that I taught my son to read. That is a memory we both will cherish.
