Down but not Out

Life Nurturing Education will be unavailable part of the day on Thanksgiving. While my family eats turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin cheesecake our administrator will be crunching codes to update homeschooljournal. At least, codes are calorie free. Thank you, Andrea!

If you can’t find me after Thanksgiving, it’s because I wiped everything out fiddling with the new options and making a nice place for my BlogHer ads. (It is hard to wipe out your entire blog, right?)

Have a memorable Thanksgiving! May peace and love fill your homes and hearts as you reflect on your blessings.

Just wondering – did you comment on my blog after you read my comment on your blog? Just wondering, because I thought it was rather uncanny if that wasn’t the case :) BTW, I subscribed to you tonight. That makes about %20 of my feeds Principle Approach, and I’m not even certain I know exactly what that means!

    Blessings,
    Jacci

    Jacci,
Yes, that is exactly what happened. I always try to follow up comments either here, by email, or by leaving a comment myself. We were writing at the same time. Such a small internet! :)

Thank you for subscribing. I added your blog to my reader as well. I look forward to learning more about you and your home school.

Charlotte Mason and Principle Approach do have quite a bit of overlap, so hopefully you will feel at home here. :) PrincipledMom has some very good descriptions of Principle Approach, if you are interested.

I am having a real hankering for turkey now. Enjoy some for me too!

Thanks for the link, Renae. Maybe I’ll check it out after the weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Hmmm … I don’t know how difficult it is to wipe out an entire blog, but I’ve been known to do it. :-) It looks like you’re still standing, though. Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

    Tribeofautodidacts,
Oh no! I’ve seen that horrible button that says, “Delete blog.” I will never, ever push it, on purpose anyway.

And yes, I’m still here, but I haven’t actually tinkered with anything yet. I decided to practice my CSS on another blog. We’ll see if it turns into anything. I’m not sure I can maintain two blogs with any level of intelligence. :)

    Andrea,
Hope you have consistent electricity by this evening. Good luck, Ron!

Also, thanks so much for the options! I have a few ideas of what I would like, but no clue how to implement them. More stuff to learn. Yeah!

  • Andrea says:

*psst* If someone does press the “delete blog” button, it just makes it red in my big ol’ admin list of blogs. then when I see lots of red in the backend, I go down and delete permanently. So if it was an accident, chances are it can come back. (and i have backups in case someone is really regretful)

We narrowed down some of our electrical issues. Don’t worry, we just have a couple breakers turned off. Unfortunately, they run the lights in most of the rooms (not the plugs though).

Lemme know what kind of ideas you had, changes to make, and I’ll see if I can point you in the right direction. you’re gonna love learning CSS. :) I know *I* love it.
