SwapaDVD
As a whole, my family doesn’t collect movies. There are a few favorites that I would like to add to the cupboard though. Now maybe I will. SwapaDVD is in testing phase. It is accessible by invitation, and I have a few.
If you want DVDs, you will also need credits. One credit equals one DVD. There are a few ways to get these tokens;
- list ten DVDs and receive one free credit (I don’t have 10 DVDs)
- wait for other members to request your movies (I will wait with you)
- skip all that and just purchase them (then you are not really swapping, but you still get a good deal)
I’m too cheap thrifty to buy credits, but the temptation is there, because I found a couple of great titles. You may, too.

This is interesting. We quit Netflix because we just didn’t watch often enough and I am sure I have a few DVD’s sitting around that I would be willing to swap.

Hmmm? How did you get the invitations to give away? I have not gotten anything. I hope I automatically get one since I am already a Paperback member. If not then count me in – we have quite a few DVD’s to swap and I would love to build a rich family DVD library – we are movie lovers around here! Very picky ones but movie lovers all the same. ( :
BTW – I am still waiting on my book to arrive to it’s destination so I can give you a credit – Slow, slow mail! Ugh! Most things get where they are going quickly but sometimes….
