I am excited to see what the Lord does with my attempts to express what He is teaching me. Yes, The Book of Life is a series with 6-9 books in it. I have seen copies for sale on ebay. I found mine on homeschoolclassifieds.com. You may also want to look at the link I just added to Amazon. FACE recommends the earlier editions. Mine is from the 1960s and I have enjoyed it. The first volume is a beginning reader. We used Vol. 2 for our Bible this year. It was wonderful! It begins with Bible geography and ends with a review of Israel's history. Volumes 3-8 are literally the King James Bible beginning in Genesis formatted like a story book with paintings and extra historical insights. Vol. 9 (of my set) is the Bible Educators Index. It includes Bible reading courses, poems, hymn stories, art studies, and so much more. I found the quote that inspired this post in a chapter called, "The Bible and Education." I hope that helps.
